TCI of NY is pleased to have provided the RCS Community Library in Ravena, NY with a $6,400 gift for the purchase of new furniture.
The gift was presented during a ceremony at the library, attended by library staff and trustees, state and local elected officials and TCI employees. Library Board President Antonio Booth told the crowd the gift tcischolar.pngoriginated from a visit TCI President Brian Hemlock made to the library at Booth’s request.
“TCI is proud to be a part of the Coeymans community,” Hemlock said. “We believe very strongly in the importance of civic engagement and in the role that we, as a corporate citizen, can and should play in supporting worthy institutions, individuals and causes. We chose the RCS Community Library because we see strong libraries as a cornerstone in any thriving community and because libraries are a wonderful resource for so many hard-working families. TCI expects to be in Coeymans for many years, and we want to do our part to contribute to the overall well-being and strength of the community, which goes beyond our role as an employer and taxpayer.”
